Australian  tours  using budget dormitory shared facity accommodation Hostel Accommodation - Dorm share rooms with shared facilities on Day 3 in Darwin.
Vehicle
Our modern fleet of air-conditioned vehicles includes specially designed 4WD’s and mini-buses so you can explore the Outback with ease. Toyota Coaster mini-bus - (max 22 seats) or Mitsubishi Rosa mini-bus (max 24 seats) - front facing air-conditioned vehicle. We use our coaches in locations where there are large driving distances on sealed roads as the larger vehicles provide greater comfort. In all other circumstances, we focus on providing a small group experience with an average maximum group size of 16.
Suitability
Our tours are nature-based and designed for those that want to experience the unique scenery, flora, fauna, history and culture of each area. While there are few age restrictions on our tours, they are budget in nature and designed for active, fun-loving people with a reasonable level of fitness who enjoy bushwalking, swimming and the great outdoors! General good health and a positive attitude are essential and we reserve the right not to carry persons that may endanger themselves or others whilst on tour. Maximum Walks: Hikes up to 6-8kms per day. A reasonable level of fitness is required as there will be some walking to view places of interest. Suitable for soft adventures with a passion for bushwalking and exploring the wonders of our National Parks.
What to Bring Sturdy walking shoes, hat & sunscreen, towel & toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing in winter, water bottle, torch, insect repellent, camera & film, sleeping bag (can be hired for $15).

Dolphins at Monkey Mia in Western Australia - Monkey Mia is famed for the numerous bottlenose dolphins that decide to visit and interact with the humans at the beach. They are part of a pod of around 300 wild dolphins that live in the bay

Itinerary

Day 1 Perth - Kalbarri

We depart Perth and head North through market gardens and vineyards to join up with Highway 1 on our way to Nambung National Park and the fascinating Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations we continue our journey northwards along coastal roads to Geraldton. After a short break we head out to some local sand dunes for an adrenaline rush, sand boarding down these huge slopes. From here we continue on to Kalbarri and our overnight accommodation. (LD)

Day 2 Kalbarri - Denham

After an early rise we take a short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park to explore Natures Window, the Loop and discover the wonders of the Z-Bend Gorge. At Z-Bend Gorge it is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge - well worth the effort - where there is time to explore and swim in the tranquil fresh water pools. For the adventurous there is even an opportunity to try your hand at abseiling (at own expense). After a well earned lunch it's time to make our way toward Monkey Mia, stopping at the beautiful Shell Beach and then onto Denham for our overnight stop. (BLD)

Day 3 Denham - Northampton

After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins - its a unique experience and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Here you can also enjoy a sail boat cruise (at own expense) to view more magnificent creatures of the sea of this vast area. All too soon its time to leave Monkey Mia and begin our return journey south. On the way we visit Eagle Bluff and Hamelin Pool with its amazing stromatolites before heading to our Farmstay at Northampton. (BLD)

Day 4 Northampton - Perth

This morning we make the short journey to the Hutt River Province and learn about a unique part of our history. For those who wish to add another stamp to your passport bring yours along!! We depart Hutt River and begin our journey south towards Perth. Along the way we make a stop at the Greenough Wildlife Park - the home of a python breeding centre and a 'hands on' experience if you wish before arriving into Perth in the early evening. (BL)
