Day 1. Alice Springs Town Tour.
Be welcomed on arrival in Alice Springs by midday and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a town tour including the historic Old Telegraph Station. See the generally dry Todd River 'running' through the town. Take in panoramic views over the township and of the MacDonnell Ranges from atop Anzac Hill. Visit the School of the Air and the base of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Stay: Alice Springs - All Seasons Oasis Standard Room (Budget), Aurora Alice Springs (Standard), Crowne Plaza (First Class), Alice Springs Resort, Deluxe Rivergum Room (Deluxe).

Day 2. Camel Farm, Mala Walk, Uluru Sunset.
Visit a Camel Farm en route to Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole, learn about the geology and flora of the region on the guided Mala Walk and explore Kantju Gorge. Early in the evening, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while watching the colours of Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunset. Tonight perhaps enjoy the Uluru Aussie Barbecue (additional cost).

Stay: Ayers Rock Resort - Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget, shared facilities), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens (First-Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe).

Day 3. Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas),Kings Canyon.
Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as the day's first light strikes Uluru. With the sun climbing, travel to the immense 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. This afternoon, travel through the desert to Kings Canyon.

Day 4. Kings Canyon, Alice Springs.
Enjoy a guided walk around the rim of Kings Canyon and through the Lost City and Garden of Eden (requires a good degree of fitness). An easier walk along the canyon floor is available. This afternoon, travel through vast cattle properties, stopping at Kings Creek Station before arriving in Alice Springs at approx. 6.30 p.m.

Stay: Alice Springs, choice of hotel.

Day 5. Alice Springs.
Enjoy a free morning before your transfer to the airport.
