This morning travel across the Marrakai Plains and into Kakadu National Park, inscribed on the World Heritage List for both outstanding cultural and natural values. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Join your guided boat cruise on the waters of Yellow Water billabong, Kakadu’s most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for crocodiles and the park’s abundance of birds. Visit the art site of Nourlangie Rock and view the unique galleries of Aboriginal rock paintings. These x-ray style works provide a fascinating insight into the region’s history.
