Day 1. Kakadu National
Park, Nourlangie Rock, Yellow
Water Billabong Wildlife Cruise.
Enter
World Heritage-listed Kakadu National
Park. Visit the Warradjan
Aboriginal Cultural Centre then join a guided
cruise on Kakadu’s Yellow Water billabong.
Travel to Nourlangie Rock and view the Aboriginal
artwork.

Day 2. Jim
Jim Falls, Twin Falls, Kakadu.
Travel
to the Arnhem Land escarpment and Jim Jim
Falls. Enjoy a bushwalk through forest surrounded
by cliffs. Continue to Twin Falls Gorge where
there is time to explore. (L)
Day 3. Arnhem
Land by 4WD.
Journey
across the East Alligator River
into Arnhem Land. Travel
to the rarely visited Mikinj Valley.
With special permission from the Manilakarr
people, view ancient Aboriginal art in its
untouched natural state. Most tours are led
or accompanied by an Aboriginal guide.

Day 4. Ubirr
Aboriginal Art Site, East Alligator River
Cruise, Bowali Visitor Centre, Darwin.
Visit
the Bowali Visitor Centre then travel by 4WD
to Ubirr to explore the galleries of Aboriginal
artwork. Accompanied by an Aboriginal guide,
cruise along the East Alligator River.
As you cruise your guide will explain the
Aboriginal culture of the region, its history
and wildlife. With special permission, walk
into Arnhem Land. Visit
Window on the Wetlands and enjoy a drink while
admiring the changing light of day over the
floodplain. Arrive in Darwin at 8.00 p.m. (L)
Note:
Injalak Arts and Craft Association is visited
only on weekdays. Injalak is not open weekends
and public holidays and may be closed for
cultural reasons. If Injalak is closed you
will visit Cannon Hill and Hawk Dreaming in
Kakadu instead. This alternative also applies
when seasonal flooding and tides prevent crossing
the East Alligator River.
