Join a guided cruise on Yellow Water billabong and perhaps spot a saltwater crocodile. After lunch, visit Nourlangie Rock art site to see Aboriginal paintings that date back thousands of years. These well-preserved artworks will give you an insight into this ancient culture.

Enter Litchfield National Park – home to sandstone outcrops, monsoonal rainforest and year-round waterfalls. Visit the double waterfall of Florence Falls then travel to Tolmer Falls. Stop for lunch (own expense), then continue to Wangi Falls for a swim in the rock pool or a nature walk to the top of the falls. On return to Darwin, stop to view the magnetic termite mounds.
