Children 0-6 unable to travel, Children 6-14 years.

This is an Open Aged Tour for passengers over the age of 6 years. Children between 6-18 must also be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted to travel on tour.

Suitability:

Individual hikes vary between 2-5km. You can choice to requested to sit out a hike if you feel like just relaxing and enjoying the outback air - email us for more details if your not sure it you can hike the routes.

General fitness is required.

To Bring:

Please check with your agent at time of confirmation. However, for most tours you will need the following: towel, water bottle, flash light, small pillow if camping, toiletries and items of a personal nature, hat, sturdy walking shoes, sun screen, camera and film, warm clothing for night time in winter months and wet weather gear.

Note: For your convenience a ‘Safaris Survival Kit’ will be available to purchase on tour from your guide which includes a torch, travel pillow and travel towel.

You will be travelling in an air-conditioned four wheel drive vehicle and exploring this extraordinary World Heritage area at a relaxed pace with guide who really knows his or her stuff. This is a camping tour.

We use several established campsites throughout the tour to make sure you get the best bush experience. Sleep in two person tents on stretcher beds with mattresses, sleeping bags and sheets provided. All campsites have toilets and hot showers.

Day 1: Darwin to Kakadu
After pick up from your accommodation you'll meet your Safaris guide and head towards Kakadu National Park. Our first adventure is a crocodile spotting cruise. We cross the South Alligator River before heading to Ubirr Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views. At the end of the day we travel to our campsite in Kakadu. During the evening we enjoy a hearty dinner at our camp.

Day 2: Kakadu
After breakfast we head out to discover what's on offer in the National Park including an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore spectacular sandstone country. After lunch we visit the Aboriginal art galleries of Nourlangie Rock and the fascinating Bowali Centre, Kakadu National Park HQ. This afternoon transfer to the LItchfield park tour, and travel to our campsite for the night.

Day 3: Kakadu to Litchfield
This morning after breakfast we depart for Litchfield Park. Litchfield is famous for its scenic beauty, waterfalls and safe swinning. We visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests. We visit the township of Batchelor on the way back to Darwin where our tour sadly comes to an end.

• Luggage: Our vehicles have limited space therefore please keep luggage to a minimum (i.e a small soft bag). Passengers travelling on tours that include air transfers need to observe strict luggage limitations

• Health: Tours are to remote areas and there is quite a lot of hiking involved. Passengers should be of reasonable health and fitness and be carrying all required medication.
