is an Open Aged Tour for passengers over the age
of 6 years. Children between 6-18 must also be
accompanied by an adult. Children under the age

However, for most tours you will need the following:
towel, water bottle, flash light, small pillow
if camping, toiletries and items of a personal
nature, hat, sturdy walking shoes, sun screen,
camera and film, warm clothing for night time
in winter months and wet weather gear.
Note: For your convenience a ‘Safaris Survival
Kit’ will be available to purchase on tour from
your guide which includes a torch, travel pillow
and travel towel.

Day
1: Darwin to Kakadu
After
joining the tour at your accommodation and meeting your guide
and fellow travellers, we leave Darwin at 7.00am in our air
conditioned four wheel drive vehicle and travel towards Kakadu
National Park, stopping along the way at Fogg Dam and
at the Bark Hut Inn. Entering the Park we enjoy a picnic
lunch and then visit the occupation sites and Aboriginal art
of Ubirr Rock. We take a cruise on the East Alligator
River, bordering Arnhemland and home to a wide variety
of bird life and possibly the lurking Saltwater Crocodile.
Tonight enjoy a barbecue dinner.

Day
2: Kakadu
After breakfast we will head out to explore one of the
many magnificent natural attractions in the National Park,
dependent on the season and weather conditions. You will have
the opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk through
bush tracks and explore spectacular sandstone country. After
a picnic lunch we visit the Aboriginal art galleries at Nourlangie
Rock and the fascinating Bowali Centre, the National
Park Interpretive Headquarters.

Day
3: Kakadu to Darwin
After breakfast at the hotel, we cruise the spectacular
Yellow Waters, home to a wide variety of bird life and
crocodiles. We also visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre
for an insight into the culture, beliefs and customs of the
Aboriginal people. On the way back to Darwin we stop for a
swim at Annaburroo Billabong before arriving back at
your hotel.

observance of cultural traditions, therefore itineraries are

• Luggage:
Our vehicles have limited space therefore please keep luggage
to a minimum (i.e a small soft bag). Passengers travelling
on tours that include air transfers need to observe strict
luggage limitations
• Health:
Tours are to remote areas and there is quite a lot of hiking
involved. Passengers should be of reasonable health and fitness
and be carrying all required medication.
