sunscreen, flynet, camera & film, warm clothing
in winter months, wet weather gear. Our
vehicles have limited space therefor we need to
keep luggage to a minimum. (i.e. a soft small
bag). Passengers on tours that include air transfer
need to observe strict luggage limitations maximum
16kgs.

Day
1: Yulara
Pickup from Yulara Resort (Ayers Rock Resort) and Ayers
Rock Airport (No later than 1 pm) and then heading straight
to our Yulara permanent campsite. The afternoon is spent exploring
Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), before travelling to Uluru (Ayers
Rock) to take in a spectacular sunset. Later we return to
camp for a traditional Aussie meal. After dinner, relax around
the camp, under the huge, starry desert skies.

Day
2: Yulara
to Kings Creek
It's an early rise today for an exciting morning with breathtaking
views of sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock), a World Heritage listed
area. Join your knowledgeable guide for a base tour of Uluru,
exploring ancient caves where Aboriginal paintings can be
seen. A fascinating time learning about the oldest culture
in the world.
This afternoon,
travel through red sand dune & desert oak country to Kings
Creek Cattle Station where optional activities are abundant.
Tonight, try a traditional "camp oven" dinner, cooked in the
coals of the fire.

Day
3: Kings Creek to Alice Springs
This morning we visit breathtaking Kings Canyon. There's no
rush, as we hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like
the "Lost City" and the "Garden of Eden", as well as the striking
North and South Walls.
There are plenty of opportunities for photos. We return to
Kings Creek Station for lunch before travelling through sand
dune country as we head back to Alice Springs, arriving approx.
6.30pm.

Anangu, Uluru's traditional owners, would prefer that visitors
choose not to climb Uluru. Furthermore, the climb may be closed
without notice due to weather or cultural reasons.

wanting to travel in a small group (10 - 24 passengers). It
is designed for those who are looking for adventure and who
want to experience the beauty of Central Australia whilst
enjoying the reward of camping and meeting new friends. Although
there is no hard work on the camping tour it's success does
rely on the participation of all the passengers to help with
cooking, collecting firewood etc. Passengers considering this
tours should be in good health, young at heart and be prepared
to experience an unforgettable camping adventure.
