Our
program of two-, three-, five- and seven-day tours of
the Top End allows you to travel with a small group
of like-minded people from all around the world. These
tours depart on a regular basis, with a minimum of two
passengers and a maximum of 10 or 12. Our scheduled
camping tours are "participative" in that while there's
no hard work, the success of a tour does rely on all
passengers participating in general camp duties but
of course your Camp Host will do all the cooking.

We
are committed to providing you with a low participant:
staff ratio ensuring you will always experience a high
level of service. Moderate fitness is required to ensure
you get the most out camp.
We
do have a three-day tour to Litchfield and Kakadu National
Parks on which you can stay in quality lodge accommodation
in the evenings. We're sure that you will find an itinerary
to suit your needs, but if you don't, please have a
look at our private "classic" options, as these can
be tailored to your individual requirements.

FOOD
IN CAMP
|
The
food served in camp is freshly prepared and cooked
on the open fire. All diets are catered for, however
we must be advised before hand. When you book
we will ask you to complete a "Booking
Form", here you
can advise us of any particular dietary requirements
you may have.

|
Evening meals vary from camp oven roasts (beef
or lamb), barbecues, baked barramundi (local fish),
pasta, salads and fresh vegetables.
Lunch time is usually light meal and is dependent
on the days activities. Sandwiches, quiche, cold
meats and salad, cold chicken etc.

|
|
|
Breakfast
will be fresh tropical fruits, cereals, and or
bacon and eggs etc. On days when we are moving
camp we usually have a continental style of breakfast.

|
|
Fresh
coffee and billy tea accompany all meals.
At
dinner time the table is fully laid with table
cloths, candles and wine glasses. On our regular
departure tours clients may be asked to assist
in preparation of some meals and minor camp chores.

large "airy tents' with raised wooden floors and
2 standard size signle beds. Camps are equiped with flushing
toilets and insect proof dining shelters. Our Litchfiled
camp 'Minjungari' is on an exclusive license.

Odyssey guides are educated professionals. All are naturalist
guides with various interests and knowledge who have a
passion for the Top End.

operate with a number of licenses that give us special
access to restricted area ie: Koolpin Gorge, Graveside
Gorge in Kakadu National Park, Minjungari in Litchfield
National park, Manyallaluk Aboriginal Community south
of Katherine.

itineraries are set at a slower pace than most as our
philosophy is to offer not just a sightseeing tour but
a wilderness experience that will enlighten, educate and
enrich our guests.

Dinner
time in camp is a candle lit affair with tablecoths, silerware,
wine glasses etc. All diets are catered for - prior advised
is required.

of our permanent private camps has it's own "Camp
Host" ensuring the highest quality safari hospitality.
