Day
1:
Pick
up from Darwin City Accommodation bright and early 6:30 start!
Heading
for straight for Litchfield National Park where there is an
opportunity for a swim & a bit of bushwalking at 3 of
the waterfalls. Buley Rockhole, Florence Falls & Wangi
Falls.
Overnight
camp at the old WWII airstrip - real bushcamping, evening
meal cooked on the open fire.
Dreamtime
stories and a chance to blow the didj
Day
2:
Heading
down to Katherine for an afternoon's canoe with enough time
for a stop at the old mining town of Pine Creek.
Afternoon
Canoe at Katherine Gorge - own expense
Quick
dip at Edith Falls while dinner cooks
Overnight
Camp Edith Falls
Day
3:
Kakadu
awaits! And we'll enter through the southern entry station,
first stop is Gunlom Falls for a swim and then onto Jim Jim
Billabong campground we're we'll set up camp for the next
2 nights.

4:
Full
day spent exploring Jim Jim & Twin Falls.
Twin
Falls boat shuttle service is own expense
Depending
on the fitness level of the group and being a private charter
our guide (Usually the owner 'Genda') bypasses Twin Falls
and the crowds altogether and spends a full day exploring
the Top & Bottom of Jim Jim Falls. Very few other tour
guides know the way up to the top of Jim Jim and usually
Genda has the spot all to himself.
If
you don't feel like being very active - due to the trek
to the top of Jim Jim is hard (our grade is Difficulty Level
4) then your guide will only take you into the base of Jim
Jim and then onto Twin Falls.

Dreamtime Stories and another go at the didj
Day
5:
Nourlangie
Aboriginal Art Sites where Genda will lead them through the
rock art explaining the Dreamtime stories and their significance
to the Gagadju people.
A
swim at Barramundi Gorge and then it's the old Darwin Road
to the Adelaide River for a personalized Jumping Crocodile
Cruise on the Adelaide River.
Returning to Darwin late afternoon.

Note:
•
Itinerary will vary during Tropical Summer (Dec-May) according
to seasonal and cultural and National park requirements. Attractions
will be substituted with others of interest.
•
All meals are supplied while on tour with the exception on
Breakfast on Day 1 and Dinner on Day 5.
• All camping equipment is supplied except for a sleeping
bag & pillow 4WD vehicle
• Accommodation
provided is full on bush camping, no "proper" toilets or showers,
but plenty of swimming. Guaranteed to
come back to Darwin tired, dirty and happy!
• Guide - Ou guide is usually 'Genda' our Aboriginal Tour
Guide. Genda is also the owner of the tour company and likes
to do the charters himself. please note if Genda is unavailable
to guide the charter due to family cultural circumstances
or ill health he will arrange for another guide of suitable
experience to conduct the tour or the tour will have to be
cancelled as this is a very small company.
• All alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are up to the clients.
