| The
Barossa Valley is Australia's most famous wine region.
The groovy day begins travelling through the Adelaide
Hills, stopping at the World's Largest Rocking Horse and
the amazing Whispering Wall. On to our first winery Orlando,
home of Jacob's Creek. After tasting a selection of wines
we head on to Tanunda, the most historical town in the
Barossa Valley, where you will have time to explore. Back
on board, off to Richmond Grove. While you are enjoying
the wine from the cellar door, we will be preparing a
barbecue extravaganza. Including the traditional steak
and chicken along with an Aussie specialty of Kangaroo.
Vegetarians are not forgotten. After a 'Big Feed' we travel
to Stanley Brothers Winery, then it's up to Menglers Hill
lookout to admire the views before heading through to
Bethany Winery for our final tasting. Plenty of time for
photos! |
