Park- Bungle Bungle Range - El Questro Wilderness
Park
Day 1: Arrive Kununurra
Clients arriving by air will be transferred
to the hotel. Today is at leisure to explore
Kununurra.
Accommodation: Country Club Hotel, Kununurra,
2 nights.
Day 2: Purnululu National Park
Begin this morning with a spectacular scenic
flight to the Bungle Bungle Range , passing
over Lake Argyle and Purnululu National Park
. Transfer to a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle and travel
to Cathedral Gorge. Walk alongside Piccaninny
Creek and amongst the beehive domes of the Bungle
Bungle Range . Enjoy a picnic lunch in the shaded
gorge. Rejoin the 4 Wheel Drive for travel to
Bellburn Camp. We reboard the aircraft, passing
over the Argyle Diamond Mine en route to Kununurra,
arriving at approximately 5.00pm. (L)
Day 3: El Questro Wilderness Park
An early start today as you head west along
the Gibb River Road to experience a remote wilderness
'outback' property, spanning over one million
acres. Nestled within the Cockburn Range and
on the eastern border of the Kimberley , this
working cattle station offers a rare holiday
experience. Take a scenic flight, a cruise on
Chamberlain Gorge or relax by the pool.
Accommodation: El Questro Wilderness Park -
choice of accommodation.
Day 4: Depart Kununurra
In the morning or afternoon transfer back to
Kununurra or Kununurra airport.
Tour concludes on arrival. Flight must be booked
to depart after 10.30am or 4.00pm (airfare not
included in tour price).
Departs: Daily (Apr - Oct)
from Kununurra
Returns: 9.30am or 3.00pm
