Highlights * Ord River Cruise - El Questro Wilderness Park

Day 1: Arrive Kununurra

Upon arrival in Kununurra you will be transferred to your hotel. Today is at leisure
to explore this frontier town, which has become the hub of the Ord River Scheme and a commercial centre for the surrounding mining and agricultural industries.
Accommodation: Country Club Hotel, Kununurra, 2 nights.

Day 2: Kununurra - Lake Argyle - Ord River

Join a cruise to explore the rugged beauty of the northern end of Lake Argyle and learn about the history and development of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme. See rock wallabies and a spectacular fish feeding frenzy. Later visit the historic Durack Homestead. Lunch is at the Lake Argyle Tourist Village (own expense). After lunch you will cruise along the Ord River and through magnificent Carlton Gorge. There is an opportunity to see crocodiles, flying foxes and prolific bird life, before returning to Kununurra at approximately 5.30pm. Afternoon tea is included.

Day 3: El Questro Wilderness Park

An early start today as you head west along the Gibb River Road to experience a remote wilderness 'outback' property, spanning over one million acres. Nestled within the Cockburn Range and on the eastern border of the Kimberley , this working cattle station offers a rare holiday experience. You can take a scenic flight to experience the beauty of the Kimberley , a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge to see ancient Wandjina rock art or just relax by the pool.
Accommodation: El Questro Wilderness Park - choice of accommodation, 2 nights.

Day 4: El Questro Wilderness Park

A whole day to experience the beauty of El - Questro. Start with a walk to Emma Gorge or an optional tour to Zebedee Springs (own expense). You might like to join a ranger for a guided bird watching walk or take a fishing trip.

Day 5: Depart Kununurra

In the morning or afternoon transfer back to Kununurra or Kununurra airport. Tour concludes on arrival. Flight must be booked to depart after 10.30am or 4.00pm (airfare not included in tour price).

Departs: Daily (Apr - Oct) from Kununurra

Returns: 9.30am or 3.00pm approximately to Kununurra
