* Kings Canyon Climb
Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be
transferred to your hotel (flight into Ayers
Rock Airport prior to 1.00pm). This afternoon
join your Driver/Guide for a tour of the base
of Uluru and a guided walk into Mutitjulu
Waterhole. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta
Cultural Centre. View sunset at Uluru
whilst enjoying nibbles and a glass of wine.
Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort - choice of
accommodation.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
- Kings Canyon
This morning enjoy sunrise at Uluru
(tea, coffee and biscuits included). Travel
out to Kata Tjuta for a 2-3 hour guided
walk through its spectacular domes (the walk
is quite rocky and is for those with a good
level of fitness). The trail leads to a lookout
point with spectacular views deep into the Valley
of the Winds. Your Guide will inform you about
the flora and fauna of this region. This afternoon
travel to Kings Canyon Resort.

Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
This morning join your guide for the rocky
climb to the canyon rim for superb views of
Watarrka National Park (for those with a good
level of fitness, supportive footwear essential).Alternatively,
explore the canyon floor (an easier, shady walk).
Travel to Alice Springs this afternoon.
Note: During the hotter months,
the Kings Canyon rim climb may not be available.
Alternative touring including guided walks at
Kathleen Springs and along the Kings Canyon
creek-bed may apply.
