Day 1: Darlington Point
Depart Sydney at 8.00am. Travel along the Hume
Highway to Darlington Point. This evening enjoy
a welcome drink with your crew. Camp: Darlington

Day 2: Riverina
Today continue across the open plains surrounding
Hay. Stop in Mildura, before travelling to Renmark.
Camp: Renmark. (BLD)
Day 3: Barossa Valley
This morning travel through the Barossa Valley.
Enjoy a tour and tastings at one of the local
wineries, before continuing to Adelaide. Accommodation:
Mercure Grosvenor Hotel. (B)
Day 4: Flinders Ranges
Depart Adelaide and travel through the Flinders
Ranges. Tonight set up camp at spectacular Wilpena
Pound in the Flinders Ranges National Park.
Camp: Wilpena Pound. (BLD)
Day 5: Wilpena Pound
There is time this morning to take a walk in
and around Wilpena Pound. Travel north (conditions
permitting) through the remote towns of Leigh
Creek and Lyndhurst to Marree. Camp: Marree.

Day 6: Coober Pedy
Stop briefly at the southern end of Lake Eyre.
Continue along the famous Oodnadatta Track to
Coober Pedy. During your stay in Coober Pedy
enjoy an underground house/mine tour to discover
how the locals live and sleep in a dugout (multi-share).

Day 7: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Cross the border into the Northern Territory
en route to Ayers Rock Resort. Tonight enjoy
a glass of wine and nibbles while watching the
changing colours of Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunset.

Day 8: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
This morning you may wish to join an early tour
to view sunrise over Uluru. There is time to
climb Uluru (optional), before a guided tour
of the base. Walk into the Mutitjulu Waterhole
and stop at the informative Uluru – Kata Tjuta
Cultural Centre. This afternoon visit the dome-shaped
Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk through Walpa
Gorge. An optional scenic flight over Uluru
will also be available. (BD)
Day 9: Kings Canyon
Travel to Kings Canyon and climb to the Canyon
rim for spectacular views of Watarrka National
Park. This afternoon continue to Kings Creek
Station. Camp: Kings Creek Station. (BLD)
Day 10: Alice Springs
Visit the West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at
Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm. On arrival
in Alice Springs enjoy a short orientation tour
of this unique town.

Day 11: Alice Springs
A free day to relax or explore Alice Springs.Tonight
you may like to attend the Red Centre Dreaming
Dinner and Show. (B)
Day 12: Tennant Creek
Visit the Telegraph Station, then depart Alice
Springs and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Explore
mysterious Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles). This
afternoon continue to the gold mining town of
Tennant Creek. Camp: Tennant Creek. (BLD)
Day 13: Katherine
See the John Flynn Memorial at Three ways, then
continue to Katherine and set up camp in Nitmiluk
National Park. Camp: Katherine. (BLD)
Day 14: Kakadu National Park
Enjoy a cruise through Katherine Gorge. Continue
to Cooinda, situated deep in the heart of Kakadu
National Park. Camp: Kakadu National Park. (BD)
Day 15: Kakadu - Darwin
Cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Visit Jabiru
and the Bowali Visitor Centre. Travel to Ubirr
and see ancient Aboriginal rock art. Later,
continue to tropical Darwin.

Day 16: Depart Darwin
You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to
