Day 1: Arrive Ayers Rock
On arrival you will be transferred to Ayers
Rock Resort. Your Tour Director will meet you
at the AAT Kings Office, Town Square, at 5:00pm.
Tonight enjoy a welcome drink and nibbles as
you watch sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock). Camp:
Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights. (D)
Day 2: Kata Tjuta ( the Olgas)
This morning you may wish to view sunrise over
Uluru. Enjoy a guided base walk, visit the Mutitjulu
Waterhole and stop at the Uluru – Kata Tjuta
Cultural Centre. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta
and walk into Walpa Gorge. (BD)
Day 3: Kings Canyon
Travel to Kings Canyon today. For the energetic,
a guided climb to the Canyon rim will be rewarded
with views of Watarrka National Park. This afternoon
continue to Kings Creek Station. Camp: Kings

Day 4: Alice Springs
Today journey to the West MacDonnell Ranges
to visit Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm. On
arrival in Alice Springs enjoy an orientation
tour. Camp: Alice Springs, 2 nights. (BLD)
Day 5: Alice Springs
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Alice Springs.
An optional 4WD Safari to Palm Valley may be
available. Perhaps join the Red Centre Dreaming
Dinner and Show, an evening of entertainment
by traditional and contemporary Aboriginal artists,
including a three-course dinner in a bushland
setting. Ask your Tour Director for details.

Day 6: Tennant Creek
Visit the Telegraph Station, then depart Alice
Springs and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Explore
mysterious Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles), precariously
balanced boulders that have been worn smooth
by the harsh elements of nature over many thousands
of years, before arriving in Tennant Creek.

Day 7: Katherine
Travel across vast outback stations. See the
John Flynn Memorial at Three Ways then visit
the historic Daly Water Waters Hotel. Continue
on to Katherine and set up camp in Nitmiluk
National Park. (BLD)
Day 8: Kakadu National Park
We join our local guide on an early morning
cruise through Katherine Gorge, with a chance
to see freshwater crocodiles sunning themselves
on the riverbanks and many species of birds.
Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
This afternoon travel deep into Kakadu National
Park.

Day 9: Kakadu – Darwin
Enjoy a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Visit
Jabiru, the Bowali Visitor Centre then travel
to Ubirr and climb to the top of this rocky
outcrop for rewarding views.
(During the wet season when Ubirr is inaccessible,
you will visit Nourlangie Rock). There is time
for an optional scenic flight over Kakadu National
Park. Later, continue to tropical Darwin, with
a brief orientation tour on arrival. Accommodation:

Day 10: Depart Darwin
Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast.
You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to
