Itinerary
Day 1. Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa Gorge, Uluru (Ayers
Rock) Sunset Drinks.
Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport before 1.00 p.m. and be transferred
to your hotel. We enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and
travel to the giant domes of Kata Tjuta. These 36 giant rocky
domes support an array of native fauna and flora. Take a guided
walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Look for ancient petroglyphs
(stone carvings) along the creek bed. Enjoy a complimentary
glass of wine while watching the sun set over Uluru. Tonight
you might like to enjoy the Uluru Aussie Barbecue (additional
Cost)
Stay: Ayers Rock Resort Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget,
shared facilities), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert
Gardens (First Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe).
Meals: Not included
Day 2. Uluru Sunrise, Kantju Gorge, Mala Walk, Cultural
Centre, Alice Springs.
Rise early to see Uluru at sunrise. Enjoy a tea or coffee
as the sun’s first rays strike Uluru. Take a guided walk to
the waterhole of Mutitjulu, viewing cave paintings and hearing
about Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Then join the Mala
Walk and tour the base -of Uluru, stopping at Kantju Gorge.
Alternatively, forgo the Mutitjulu and Mala walks to climb
Uluru and take in the stunning views. Visit the Uluru-Kata
Tjuta Cultural Centre. View Atila (Mt Conner) rising above
the desert plain en route to Alice Springs, arriving at 6.30
p.m.

- Single Traveller must pay single room tour price
- Optional: Aussie Uluru Barbeque
- Note: Anangu, the traditional owners, would prefer that
visitors choose not to climb Uluru. The climb may be closed
due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given
