60 mins prior to sunrise. Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea
or coffee as you witness Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunrise. See
the magnificent show of colour as the sun's first rays strike
the mighty monolith. After the sun has risen, you will be transferred
to the base of the Uluru Climb. As you make the strenuous though
exhilirating climb, take in the desert plains. Once at the summit,
enjoy unhindered 360-degree views of this vast desert landscape.
From here, see Kata Tjuta (Olgas), a cluster of 36 massive domes
with twisted gorges running between them. Visit the Cultural
Centre and stop by the Maruku Arts and Crafts Cooperative to
see Aboriginal artists at work. Note: Anangu, the traditional
owners, would prefer that visitors choose not to climb Uluru.
