Gold Kangaroo Accommodation
Travel in stylish, modern comfort aboard The Ghan with Gold
Kangaroo accommodation. Relax on your three-seater lounge
which converts to upper and lower sleeping berths. Your private
en suite bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and shower and
your cabin is fully serviced by your own steward. Single rooms
have a private toilet and wash basin with showers located
at the end of each carriage.
Gold Kangaroo Dining
Indulge your tastebuds with Gold Kangaroo dining. The ever-changing
menus feature authentic Australian cuisine, such as Northern
Territory saltwater barramundi and Australian beef. Cooked
to perfection by The Ghan's chefs, all meals are included
in your fare.
Gold Kangaroo Lounge
Relax with a drink from the bar, make new friends or just
sit back and enjoy the passing scenery in the Gold Kangaroo
lounge. With separate smoking and non-smoking areas, the lounge
is the ideal place to gather for a pre-dinner drink, a game
of cards and a nightcap.

Red Kangaroo Accommodation
Your accommodation in Red Kangaroo Class offers complete comfort.
You can choose two sleeping options. The twin share day cabin
converts to upper and lower sleeping berths at night, and
has private washing facilities in cabin and toilet and shower
facilities at the end of each carriage. Or the daynighter
seat, a comfortable recliner lounge chair with generous leg
room, individual reading light and video entertainment - guests
need to bring their own rug and pillow.
Red Kangaroo Dining
The Red Kangaroo Diner offers affordable and tasty light meals,
snacks and drinks for purchase.
Red Kangaroo Lounge
Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink or socialise with new-found
friends in the Red Kangaroo Lounge, where video games and
