Campwild
4WD Adelaide to Alice Springs Expedition

Campwild Adventures was started by Tim and Bianca Grigg in 1998. After spending 3 ½ years travelling around Australia and the world, they realised just how difficult it was for the traveller visiting this beautiful country to see the real Australia, to get off the worn out tourist routes and into the bush. So they started Campwild Adventures, and had a simple philosophy behind their business, 'enjoyment before profit.' The business allowed them to be doing what they really enjoyed, so that they and their staff could lead happy and enjoyable lives. They took inspiration from the words by Australian singer / songwriter Neil Murray, 'I'm richer by far with my satisfied mind'

In the five years until February 2003, Tim and Bianca not only managed to build up a fantastic business, but were also busy at home breeding children, with baby Joey and Mathew permanenly attached to her legs, Mother Bianca said a teary fairwel to Campwild (although she still hangs around a lot!) to concentrate on raising the family and regaining some sanity.

At this time 2 of Campwild's best employees joined the company, Daniel Nelson who started as a guide and then ran the operations, and Jolyn Phillipps, also a guide who is now runs the administration.

With 3 dedicated directors running Campwild we are able to build on the solid foundations laid by Tim and Bianca, and are fully committed to the tour features and company philosophy which have made Campwild so successful: Small groups, wilderness, wildlife, adventure and environmental sustainability.

Campwild is an eco friendly company, we have our own environmental plan and follow the minimum impact recomendations set down by The National Parks Service. We recycle on our trips and in the office, and always try to use recycled paper for our correspondense and publicity material.

If you want a really special experience while in Australia, and are prepared to join in on tour and have lots of fun while you meet new friends in some of the worlds most special environments, then join one of our tours and you want regret it.
