Tour Itinerary:
We pick you up from Ayers Rock Resort an hour prior to the sun setting, and take you to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and take in the beautiful sunset, while your dinner is prepared by your guides. Tonight’s dinner is a freshly cooked Outback BBQ to be enjoyed while you watch the Uluru change colors as the sun sets. After dinner, you’ll be transferred back to the resort and dropped off at your hotel.

Please note: Uluru park entry pass is not included in the cost of the tour which is $25per person.

We depart Ayers Rock Resort approximately 1 hour before sunset We return to Ayers Rock Resort (Outback Pioneer) just after sunset.

 

Can I bring my family?
Yes. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome on our tour. Children aged 2-15 are charged $59 per person from 01/04/2017.

 

What should I bring on tour?
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1 litre), hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), cash for purchasing dot painting directly from artists at sunset.

How many people are on each tour?
We have a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a comfortable air conditioned coach with a toilet on board.

• AUD $99 per person (adult)
• Children aged 2-15 are charged $59 per person

• All prices are in Australian Dollars(includes 10% GST) based on per person
• Tour may not be suitable for children under 2 years of age

We have a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a luxury air conditioned coach with USB ports, dropdown TV and on board toilet.


Fitness Level:
Maximum Walks: Hikes up to 6-8kms per day. A reasonable level of fitness is required as there will be some walking to view places of interest. Suitable for soft adventures with a passion for bushwalking and exploring. Passengers must be fit and active.

Notes:

• Itineraries may vary and/or attractions be substituted for any cause including seasonal conditions, weather extremes, and traditional owner/national park requirements. Please see terms and conditions of travel for full details.

• Tour may not be suitable for children under 5 years of age.

• From October to March it is likely that you will experience temperatures of over 35 degrees Celsius, and sometimes well into the 40's. Be prepared to endure extra physical stress due to the heat at these times, especially while on walks. These extreme temperatures can also place stress on the air-conditioning units within our vehicles which can make travelling uncomfortable. Your tour guide will assist with regular breaks and information to assist keeping hydrated. In July and August, very cold temperatures can be experienced in the outback, especially overnight. Please come prepared for all extremes.

• The default pick up point is where we will meet you for your tour, unless you or your travel agent requests an alternative location (contact our Reservations team for more information). It is your responsibility to contact us with your preferred pick up point well ahead of departure. We do not take responsibility for missed tours if we have not been advised of an alternative in advance and you are not at the default location on time.

• D = Dinner.

• Safaris must be reconfirmed 48 hours prior to departure to confirm pick-up location and time.by phone direct with the tour operator - (Details of the tour operator is on your E-Ticket).

Special Dietary requirements and allergies

• Passengers with special meal requirements or food allergies MUST ensure they or their travel agent inform Emu Run of this at the time of booking.
• Food for the trip is purchased prior to commencement and special requirements cannot be catered for after departing.
• Due to the nature of our trips food is basic but plentiful.
• We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking and carry any necessary medication with you on tour. An additional charge of $25 pp will apply for vegetarian or dairy free, this is payable direct to Emu Run.
