Meals
and Accommodation: You may have a choice
of accommodation, (prices below). In either case, there
a will be a minimum of 2 nights camped under the
stars at secluded riverside camps, (swag - or bedroll
style), and 2 nights in kakadu bush camps in a
tent.
One
evening meal in Katherine town is not provided, so that
you may have your choice of where and when, you want
to eat (own cost).
Nitmiluk
National Park; is well serviced by Parks staff
and rangers. Your day in Nitmiluk Gorge, is self-guided,
but includes transport, lunch and a guided 2
hour boat cruise. You will have time to explore
the walking trails and visit the interpretive display
at the Visitor Information Centre.
Upgrades:
Some may choose to stay at 3-4 Star accommodation for
2 nights instead of a Hostel, thats fine, please see
below for the upgrade prices. Also see below if you
wish to upgrade to a 4 or 8 hour boat cruise into Nitmiluk
Gorge instead of the 2 hour boat cruise.
NOTE:
During the months of April to June due seasonal conditions
the itinerary may offer alternative touring.
