is no set rule usually 5 people are needed for a trip to be
confirmed. If a trip does not depart Kakadu 4WD Safaris will
organise for you to depart on a similar tour or rearrange
your departure date. |

Our
tours are active so a reasonable level of fitness and swimming
ability is needed. If you enjoy hiking through gorges, swimming
in waterfalls and directly experiencing the environment then
our tours are perfect for you. If you have any doubts about
your suitability for our tours, please check with our Reservations
Department before making a booking. |

Small bag, swimming gear, hat & sunscreen, walking
boots, sunscreen, park entry fee, insect repellant, beer
money, sleeping bag, torch, pillow, sense of adventure and

3 Day Kakadu Wet Season itinerary
Itinerary:

Day 1 (Apprrox.
10km walking)
Pick up 6:30am from Darwin City Accommodation
First stop - home and meet "Snappy" the Salt Water Crocodile
- Pick up 6:30am
- First stop is the Kakadu 4WD Safaris headquarters
to meet "Snappy" the Saltwater Crocodile.
- Small group Crocodile Cruise only 9max
- feed the big crocs!
- Cathedral Termite Mounds, one of our many
termite species
- Nourlangie Rock (Ancient Aboriginal Rock
Art)
- Gubara (Barolba Springs) swimming
- Nocturnal night drive
- Big feast followed by didgeridoo lessons
& Dreamtime stories
- We won't be getting wet in our Awesome
Bush Camp
Day 2 (Apprrox. 16km walking)
- Gunlom Falls (swimming)
- Karundi Falls (swimming)
- Motor Cars Falls (Yurmikmik) swimming
- Bolder Creek (swimming)
- A Beady Sunset
- Back to Dry Bush Camp for a BIG feed
after the BIG DAY OUT
Day 3... The
One (Apprrox. 4km walking)
- Last day spent in beautiful Litchfield National Park
for a full day of swimming
- Highlights include: Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, Buley
Rockhole, Tolmer Falls
- Return to Darwin approximately 7-8pm
Accommodation provided is full on bush camping, no "proper"
toilets or showers, but plenty of swimming. Guaranteed
to come back to Darwin tired, dirty and happy!
Areas accessible in Kakadu for this time of year is the
Yurmikmik Area and Nourlangie Aboriginal Art Sites.
Waterfalls called MotorCar Falls,
Karundi Falls, Moline Rockhole, Gubara & Gunlom Falls, and
Boulder Creek.
Please be aware that all waterfalls
are subject to seasonal closures.

Basic
camping and facilities. Bush Camps
- no facilities other than those that are carried on
the vehicle. Passengers sleep in swags (Aussie bedroll).
The tour will stop along the way at roadhouses for clients
to have a shower and so on. |

Personal luggage is limited to an overnight bag and
a day pack. Most Darwin accommodation will be happy
to store any excess luggage you may have, some do
charge a small fee. We recommend that your store valuables
in the safety deposit at your Darwin accommodation.

Cruise.
