seven-day tours of the Top End allows you to travel with a
small group of like-minded people from all around the world.
These tours depart on a regular basis, with a minimum of two
passengers and a maximum of 10 or 12. Our scheduled camping
tours are "participative" in that while there's no hard work,
the success of a tour does rely on all passengers participating
in general camp duties but of course your Camp Host will do
all the cooking. |

Rewriting the book on bus tours since 1990, Wayward Bus steers
a course away from the ordinary. Small group adventure, good
information, great value and an element of fun are the main
ingredients. Tours run between Melbourne and Adelaide via
the Great Ocean Road and Coorong; also to Kangaroo Island;
between Adelaide, Flinders Ranges, the Red Centre and Alice
Springs; between Alice and Darwin; and to Kakadu. Most travellers
are in their 20s and 30s but Wayward do not impose any age
restrictions so all ages of adventurous types are welcome.
Vehicles used are 16 to 22 seater mini-coaches and truck-based
17 seaters. All are air-conditioned. Wayward Bus operates
from bases in Alice Springs and Adelaide. |

This is one of the most famous tours of Uluru. On this
small group tour you enjoy sunrise, a restaurant breakfast
overlooking Uluru and the Liru Walk with Aboriginal
guides. On the famous Liru Walk you will retrace the path
of the Liru Ancestors through the bushland near Uluru.
Hear the tragic fate of Lungkata (Blue Tongue Lizard Man),
who is still lying at the base of Uluru. See demonstrations
of ancient bush skills such as making kiti (bush glue), making
fire without matches and carving wooden tools with only a
