Camping and Accommodation

Excellent! You will stay and sleep at the 5 star TERRA AUSTRALIS SAFARIS camp. First class tents (you can stand upright), which are very spacious and accommodate 2 people comfortably. Guests who request single tent occupancy (surcharge applies - no forced singles however) are supplied with a light-weight, easy to errect dome tent and single room accommodation at the Lodges/Motels/Cottages and Safari Camps. The tents are very easily and quickly put up and pulled down and mosquito screens at the entrance and at the two large windows ensure a comfortable sleep whilst a cool breeze can still enter.

For the entire tour, every day you will have your personal equipment consisting of the tent, a comfortable self inflating and insulating mattress, your own personal or your hired, clean and warm sleeping bag, a pillow and torch light.

Campsites are at selected caravan parks, campsites in National Parks and bush camps in remote areas.
Caravan parks always feature facilities like showers, toilets, washing machines & dryers, phone and sometimes swimming pools. Campsites in National Parks offer toilets, water and often showers too. At the bush camps, set up in wonderful remote environment on each tour, there are no facilities but we carry enough water to provide a shower. You will be amazed by the tranquillity and the starry sky will take your breath away and like most people you will class these moments as  some of the best memories of your time in Australia.

It hardly ever rains but should it happen, the custom designed rain cover over-spanning the trailer, kitchen, table and chairs also has two side walls which provides comfortable shelter from rain and wind.

Reading through our Itineraries you will notice that often we spend 2-3 nights at the same location. You do not have to shift camp every day, rather have time to explore the area on one of the many walks and short drives we undertake.

On each tour we also provide a break from camping and stay at other selected places.

On each tour we stay at selected Motels, Lodges, Homesteads  and/or historical Miners Cottages, a unique and luxury Opal Mine Underground Bed & Breakfast etc.
